Fire and Explosion Protection
| Preventive
Fire and Explosion protection |
ATEX provides two types of systems to prevent the potential
of an explosion event. By detecting the incipient fire before a deflagration
ignition occurs they prevent an explosion from developing. The ATEX
CO system increases the reliability of any protections system. When
combined with explosion suppression systems they can lower operational
and maintenance cost significantly. |

CO
Fire Detection & Control Systems
ATEX CO Systems can detect the incipient development of a fire by
sensing and comparing the inlet and outlet air for CO content. This
allows the operator to manually or automatically correct the problem
eliminating the explosion potential & lower maintenance costs. |

Infra
Red Spark Detection Systems
Using GreCon Systems ATEX can provide a custom engineered spark detection
system to detect and suppress sparks and burning embers as they travel
down ductwork preventing them from entering process equipment and
causing an explosion. |

Isolation Systems
| Explosion
Isolation Systems |
Isolation systems are required by the National Fire protection Associations
standards on Explosion Prevention in hazardous areas. They provide
an effective means of stopping the propagation of flame and /or pressure.
ATEX provides various explosion isolation systems to stop the spread
of an explosion through ductwork, etc. to other areas or process equipment. |

Quick Sliding Valves
AQS Valves provide a positive barrier stopping both flame and pressure
from propagating from one process vessel to another |

Chemical flame Barriers
Provide isolation of flame and mitigate the potential of an explosion
traveling from one process vessel to another. |

Ventex isolation valves
Standard Ventex valves provide isolation of an explosion without electrical
activation. Valves are available for even ST3 dust. |

Diverters
Explosion diverters provide a cost effective means of mitigating the
propagation of an explosion through ductwork. |

Venting Systems
| Explosion
Venting Systems |
ATEX provides explosion venting systems to release the pressure and
flame of a deflagration in controlled manner to a safe area. ATEX
has systems that can provide explosion venting for process vessels
inside and outside of the protected facility.
When coupled with the required isolation methods ATEX systems can
provide a total systematic approach meeting NFPA standards cost effectively |

Explosion Vents
Three ply (SS/PTF/SS) domed vents are available in various size and
pressure rating. Sanitary vents are available for food grade use. |

Q-PEX
Flameless Venting
Providing a means of venting an explosion within a facility and isolating
its propagation to another process vessel or facility area. |

Explosion Doors
Vents doors provide an effective means to handle explosion venting
when reusability is a concern and fire mitigation is an advantage. |

Reflex Explosion Panels
Reflex vent panels provide a reliable alternative to standard vents
with many size and functional benefits. |

Suppression Systems
| Explosion
Suppression Systems |
ATEX provides explosion suppression systems to extinguish the flame
from a deflagration and mitigate the associated pressure damaged to
the protected area. When the process medium is hazardous to the environment,
the process equipment is too far from an outside wall or cannot be
protected by the QPEx system then explosion suppression provides the
best protection available for your application |

Analog Sensors
Analog sensors provide superior service to standard explosion detectors.
The units can be supervised for functionality while standard detectors
can only have their wiring supervised. Their rate of explosion rise
detection eliminates false releases and provides superior detection. |

High Rate discharge Containers
HRD's provides the first non-pyrotechnic valve. The valve can be tested
without the replacement of parts. Standard units require complete
activator replacement with an untested unit after each response. The
unit has a dual redundant coil valve for reliability. |

ATEX Explosion Guard
Hot Water Atomizer Suppressor
The ATEX Explosion Guard HOT Water Atomizer Suppressor is the next
generation protection option requiring minimal parts replacement
after activation and major advances in cost control for initial
and operational costs

Wiring Cable
The cable is suitable for detection and firing circuits. The jacketed
cable has 3 conductors shielded with braided metalic and marked "
For ATEX Explosion Protection and not to be placed near high voltage
cables". |
